Why we created Community Catalyst Wellness

Founder Story

Lee and Stacy have both experienced success in the business world. But more important than that, they have experienced the transformational work of Jesus Christ in their lives and their communities. Their passion to spiritually disciple others for Christ is the focus of their lives, but they also recognize the spirit, soul, and body are all connected in a person’s transformation.

The vision behind Catalyst Community Wellness is individual and community transformation with Lee and Stacy modeling that from their home,  marriage and now from their family business. They also recognize transformation happens in relationship with others. The goal of Catalyst is to provide a safe space where people feel like family, grow holistically together, and impact the Fort Myers community.

Meet the Team

    Stacy Wood

Stacy’s initial passion for fitness began with running as she competed in both marathons and half marathons. Her love for the gym grew as she worked out with her husband and eventually started teaching classes. She has earned a certification in TotalFit holistic training and co-created Faith and Fitness, an experiential learning approach to health and fitness. In addition to fitness, she leads the learning and development department for a large women’s healthcare company and is certified in Ken Blanchard Situational Leadership program. Her desire is for women to see themselves as God sees them, beautiful on the inside and out.

    Lee Wood

Lee has always been a fitness enthusiast. He obtained his certification as a personal trainer and has competed in several fitness events. In 2013, he co-authored a book, Total Transformation, which emphasizes the spirit, soul, and body connection in a person's transformation story. Lee has personally trained others from all walks of life in fitness, but his greatest joy is teaching others how to walk with Jesus.

  • Wesley Wood

    Wesley Wood

Wesley grew up in the fitness world through competing in sports and training in the gym. As a young adult he joined the Army and served overseas. After his service he went back to the gym where he has been a strength coach, worked with athletes in specific sport training, and was honored to train injured veterans. He loves the challenge of adapting workouts to meet the needs of each individual, regardless of age, size, race, injuries or fitness levels. For years he worked at a gym in Tampa, but is happy to now be a part of the family business in helping others achieve holistic transformation.

Meet the Team

Catalyst Community Wellness is built around more than fitness. Our goal is to create an environment where children, athletes, adults, and families can grow stronger physically while developing confidence, discipline, relationships, and purpose.

Becky

Coach • Educator • Program Leadership

Becky brings a lifelong passion for working with children, athletes, and families through education, coaching, fitness, and ministry.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Health Education and a Master's degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration. She is also a TotalFit-certified fitness instructor.
